Online Database of Statistics, Facts and Quotations

NAPO is pleased to provide a searchable online database of statistics, facts and quotations on topics related to the field of organizing.


A “statistic” is a number quantifying some characteristic of a population, or a representative sample of a population, at or over a period of time.

A “fact” is a truthful statement, with or without statistical quantification.

A “quotation” is a saying or expression that is often cited and attributed to a specific person. Quotations may or may not contain valid statistics or facts.
